Cartweaver based ecommerce site

BoBijou

Site: www.bobijou.com

Developer: redleaf.co.uk

Project: BoBijou designs and sells exquisite pearl and gemstone jewelry.
They decided to start trading online last year and RedLeaf was approached to provide a cost effective ecommerce solution, that still incorporates all the features that sophisticated customers have come to expect when buying online. Whilst RedLeaf worked on the design and technicalities, a non-technical employee was employed to input the information about their huge product range into the intuitive Cartweaver interface.

Quote:
"Cartweaver was chosen for its great feature set and extensibility.
We were able to make rapid progress with Cartweaver thanks to its clever code" said John Carratt of RedLeaf "Cartweaver now forms a core product in our ecommerce offerings"

QRubini

Site: www.qrubini.com

Developer: BigHead Internet Solutions
Art Director: Teddy Spittal
Technology Director: Teddy Spittal
www.BigHeadIS.com

Project: QRubini sells finely crafted hand-made dresses for little girls.
Initially started as a fund-raising project to raise money for the National Marrow Foundation, QRubini.com has now grown into an opportunity for founder, Maureen Quinlan, to positively affect as many people as possible. Maureen has gone from selling dresses at local conferences and events to reaching a nation-wide market with QRubini.com

Quote:
"We tested and used 7 other e-com carts (including Miva, YVS, and Storefront) before being referred to Cartweaver on the WebBiz Newsgroup. We were impressed from the beginning. Since it is a DreamWeaver extension, the learning curve was drastically reduced, and integrating it into our site design was a breeze. It took about 5 hours for us to become totally comfortable with the environment, and since the source code is all accessible, modifying the code to add the customizations we needed was fairly straight-forward.

We use our custom Content Management System to power the Content areas of the QRubini.comwebsite, which allows QRubini staff to quickly and easily update the website without having knowledge of html, and Cartweavers' suite of Admin tools allows the same ease of management for the shopping cart area.

Qrubini staff now maintains 100% of their own site having quickly learned how to process orders, manage products (including adding new products, uploading images and setting pricing and inventory levels) and run detailed reports all through web-based administration modules."

Wild Flower Bill

Site: www.wildflowerbill.com

Developer: Michael Evangelista, Evangelista Design, http://www.mredesign.com

Project: This Cartweaver 3 ColldFusion Shopping Cart site is a strong example of how easy it is to make the cartweaver includes blend right in with any design. Doing this site was fun and rewarding for both the developer and the customer.
Custom lightbox image modifications on the details page make these wildflower photographs pop.

Quote:
"The new features in Cartweaver 3 handled many of our modifications with ease. From allowing unlimited 'image types' and creation of custom configuration variables in the admin, to automatic settings for displaying products in a horizontal loop on the front end, a number of functions that previously required custom changes to the code were built right in!"

Odour Zappers

Site: www.odourzappers.co.uk/

Developer: Steve Clifford
www.whizzweb.co.uk

Project: Straightforwardness of use was the main factor in choosing Cartweaver as the most appropriate tool for this client. Odourzappers needed the ability to easily add, update and delete products within their online back office. Cartweaver`s uncomplicated administration section was ideal for this client.

“A ecommerce novice can easily get to grips with Cartweaver`s online administration.”

Sweat Shop

Site: www.sweatshop.co.uk

Developer: Claire Simkins, Web master/designer

Project: Re-design a 2000+ page HTML web site which was becoming completely unmanageable. All orders were emailed to our Mail Order department and that email was the only record of the customer and order that we had - no customer details were stored in a database. We now have an easy to manage web site with 600+ products, which is fully searchable. Products can easily be added and amended by non-technical staff.

"I chose Cartweaver as I was familiar with ColdFusion and regularly use Dreamweaver. Cartweaver integrates with Dreamweaver seamlessly and makes dynamic web sites an easy reality. I have had to make numerous customizations to the basic Cartweaver package but have found the code clear and easy to adapt, or have made use of the support forums on a regular basis"
