This same modularity also makes for adding functionality to your Cartweaver site easier. For example, all shipping calculations are handled by a single file and just the shipping cost is passed to the cart. Should a store require special shipping calculations, there is only one file to modify. The modularity of Cartweaver makes it easy to understand and modify without design getting in the way of the programming.

Realizing that developers want power and scalability, Cartweaver supports Access 2000, SQL Server 7 and 2000 (ASP and ColdFusion), as well as MySQL 4.0 and above (ColdFusion and PHP). Cartweaver ASP and ColdFusion come with the Access 2000 database and the other supported databases are provided to Cartweaver ASP and ColdFusion users at no additional charge as database creation scripts in the Cartweaver Customer area.

Cartweaver seamlessly integrates into Dreamweaver (versions MX 2004 and above), but it doesn't require it. The complete application is also available in a zip file. Users of other popular editors such as HomeSite+ or Eclipse will have no trouble developing with Cartweaver.
